This website is designed to be a helpful and free resource for anyone keen on exploring dermatology. The content is primarily aimed for people who are just beginning their career in dermatology.

It could also be used as a tool for junior doctors and GPs to gain evidence-based, practical and accessible dermatology content.

Through a multi-modality approach with videos, podcasts and accompanying written material, you can access the information you want, when you want it and in a format that best suits your learning style.

About me:

I'm Len Timoney, a Consultant Dermatologist at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital, Drogheda. After completing my specialist training in the West of Scotland—with additional posts in Ireland, London (UCLH), and Perth, Australia—I completed a Senior Clinical Fellowship in Medical Dermatology and Medical Education at St John's Institute of Dermatology, London, before taking up my current role.

My interest in Dermatology and Dermatology education started when I completed a Dermatology Diploma with the Australian Institute of Dermatology. This was later consolidated by completing a Master’s degree in Clinical Education with the University of Galway. 

I firmly believe that with the busy lives we all live that medical education should be practical, affordable and accessible at a convenient time for people. This belief, combined with my commitment to improving dermatological care, inspired me to create this educational website as a resource for seeking to enhance their understanding of dermatology.
